UNC-Asheville in Asheville, NC, Presents Three New Student Exhibitions
Three new art exhibitions by UNC-Asheville seniors will be on view at several university gallery spaces.
Abstraction and Pop Recourse, an exhibition of nine oil paintings by Celeste Howie, will be on view in UNCA's Mel Blowers Gallery, located on the main floor of Ramsey Library, through Oct. 30. The show is the culmination of Howie's work toward her bachelor of arts degree at UNCA. The gallery is open during regular library hours.
An exhibition entitled Angst, featuring 17 clay and steel sculptures by Eo Trueblood, will be on view in UNCA's University Gallery, located on the first floor of Owen Hall, from Oct. 19 through Nov. 6. The show is the culmination of Trueblood's work toward his bachelor of fine arts degree at UNCA. Gallery hours are Mon.-Fri., 9am-6pm.
Catalina DiBiase will present Sonar, an exhibition of 15 oil paintings, in UNCA's Owen Hall Second Floor Gallery, from Oct. 19 through Nov. 6. The show is the culmination of DiBiase's work toward her bachelor of arts degree at UNCA. Gallery hours are Mon.-Fri., 9am-6pm.
All galleries are free and open to the public.
