The Wells Gallery in Charleston, SC, Features Works by William Jameson & Randall McKissick

William Jameson and Randall McKissisk, two of the country's most highly acclaimed contemporary artists, are unveiling recent works at The Wells Gallery in Charleston, SC. The exhibition will open during the Charleston Fine Art Dealer's Association (CFADA) 3rd Charleston Fine Art Annual weekend, taking place Nov. 2-4. The works will continue to be on view through Nov. 17, 2001.

"McKissick and Jameson share a great diversity in subject, place and style," says Hume Killian, owner of The Wells Gallery. "Their work evokes a sense of fascination that leaves a lasting impression."

Jameson has dedicated the past 30 years to travel, painting and teaching. His recent European tour has resulted in newly inspired works of Italy and France. Whether painting broad open landscapes or quaint village markets, Jameson's scenes come to life, serving as a visual tour, enticing the viewer to come along for the trip.

McKissick uses his 25 years of experience as a fine artist to conceive his elegantly and precisely painted images. At first glance, his paintings appear effortlessly spontaneous, but they are a culmination of composition, color, atmosphere and deliberately calculated shadows and light.

"Randall is bringing his most talked-about portraits and landscapes to the Wells," says Killian. "We're pleased that both artists are incorporating their travels into this year's show."
