Art Institute of Charlotte Gallery in Charlotte, NC, Features Works by Patrick Symonds
In Charlotte, NC, the Art Institute of Charlotte
Gallery's next exhibit will be Patrick Symonds' Jazz Series
exhibit of paintings. The exhibit runs from Oct. 5-31, 2002.
Symonds says about his work, "Through painting the objective
was to simply show the relationship between art and music. The
theme of the show is jazz and breaking it down to its components....
improvisation, rhythm, melody, trumpet, sax, the musicians and
the styles are some examples. Each painting in the show represents
one component. Intent through viewing the paintings is for one
to enjoy Art and learn about Jazz."
