The auction will feature works donated by artists from throughout the region. The event is a benefit toward remodeling of its new facility at 138 St. Phillips Street, in Charleston.
Redux Studios is also hosting the second annual
Portrait Knockdown! on Nov. 2, 2002, at the Sea Hag Gallery, Suite

Knockdown features 16 individual artists who will paint, draw
or sculpt portraits of each other in 2 1/2 hour sessions during
a 12 hour marathon of portrait making. After each session the
winner selected by the juror will move on to the next round. After
four rounds the Portrait Grand Champion will be crowned. The event
begins at 9am and will end at 9pm. Come for the beginning or come
for the final knockdown or come for the entire day. Proceeds for
this event also benefit the remodeling of Redux Studios' new facility.
