Richland County Public Library in Columbia, SC, Features Works by Ronald Herd II
The Richland County Public Library in Columbia, SC, will host the exhibit, R2C2H2: Evolution of a Movement, featuring artwork by Tennessee native Ronald Herd II, a.k.a. R2C2H2, from Oct. 6 through Nov. 20, 2005, in the Wachovia Gallery. The mixed media exhibit, which includes acrylic, collage, whiteout, printmaking and regular ink, is free and open to the public.
A graduate of Washington University with a bachelor's degree in printmaking and drawing, Herd's work has been shown around the country, including the St. Louis Urban League's Vaughn Cultural Art Center and the FedEx Corporate World Headquarters. Herd has also designed book covers for literary journals such as Sisters Nineties Poetry Magazine and the Eliot Review.
