Shain Gallery in Charlotte, NC, Opens New Location with Works by Henry Barnes

Shain Gallery has relocated to 823 Selwyn Avenue, staying in the same Charlotte, NC, neighborhood. Exploring Byways, a new solo-exhibition showcasing landscapes by Atlanta, GA, artist, Henry Barnes, will be the first exhibit in the new space. The show opens on Oct. 7 and continues through Oct. 29, 2005.
Barnes uses the canvas to chronicle his travels through Western Europe. Known for his original palette of blues and greens, Barnes is able to create paintings that read warm and cool with a seamless quality, perfect for capturing the old-world atmosphere of small towns and seaside villages.
