Spencer Galleries in Charleston, SC, Offers 4 Exhibts in October
Spencer Art Galleries opens four special art exhibits in October at Galleries I, II, and III at 55 and 57 Broad Street, Charleston, SC.
Finding Beauty In Small Things, featuring classical new works by Cisco Lindsey, opens in Gallery I on Oct. 7. Lindsey captures the beauty in the small, often overlooked, aspects of our lives. The Journey, featuring the almost mystical and captivating landscapes by William Davies, also opens on Oct. 7 in Gallery II. Both shows continue through Oct. 20, 2005.
The exhibit, View While Waiting, featuring
paintings by Laurie Meyer will open on Oct. 21and continue through
Oct. 30, 2005, in Gallery 1. Almost all of us have waited at the
foot of the old Cooper River Bridges in traffic. Meyer shows us
the beauty we saw but overlooked; beauty we will never see again
from the same viewpoint. This is a very unique exhibit.
Andalucian Moments, featuring paintings by Nancy Davidson
will be on view in Gallery II from Oct. 21 - 30, 2005. Davidson
shows us intimate glimses of her trip to Spain this past summer.
