Art League of Henderson County in Hendersonville, NC, Features Works from Mountain Phoenix School for Art
The Art League of Henderson County in Hendersonville,
NC, is presenting an exhibit of works from Jean Lindabury and
her students from the Mountain Phoenix School for Art in Hendersonville.
The exhibit will hang in the Grace Etheredge Room through Nov.
3, 2006.
Lindabury is the founder and director of Mountain Phoenix School
for Art. The students who are exhibiting cover a wide range
of ages and will show works done in many media. It will be
a show of glorious colors demonstrating strong drawing ability
and individual expression. "The work will speak for
itself!," says Lindabury.
Lindabury has taught art for thirty years in
both New Jersey and North Carolina. "Making art is a
life-long learning process," she says. "It is the
process, not product, that is the most important in the creation
of a piece of art."
