Charleston County Public Library in Charleston,
SC, Features Works by Lee Alexander Breuer
The Charleston County Public Library in downtown Charleston, SC,
will present the exhibit, South Carolina: An Artist's Perspective,
featuring works by Lee Alexander Breuer, at the Saul Alexander
Gallery, from Oct. 1 - 30, 2006.
A native of Georgia, Breuer is a graduate of The Citadel and attended art school in Atlanta prior to moving to Columbia, SC in 1992.
Breuer's work has been exhibited throughout the Columbia area as well as at the Pickens County Museum; Wake Forest University; the Piccolo Spoleto Festival's Juried Art Exhibition; Davidson County Community College (NC); and the Dalton Gallery, Center for the Arts in Rock Hill, SC. Breuer's creativity has also been used to promote theatrical productions and events including the "Carolina Downhome Blues Festival" in Camden, SC, and the Columbia Music Festival Association's "Beaux Art Ball".
