Fraser Fox Fine Art in Charleston, SC, Offers Show Inspired by Lowcountry

Fraser Fox Fine Art in Charleston, SC, will offer the exhibit, As We See It, for the Charleston Fine Art Annual, opening on Nov. 3, 2006. The exhibit is inspired by Charleston and the Lowcountry, and reflects the lifetime each artist has dedicated to capturing the light, mood and feeling of place. The exhibition including works by West Fraser, John Budicin, Gil Dellinger, and Billyo O'Donnel, continues through Nov. 30, 2006.

Distinguished southern artist West Fraser and his wife Helena Fox established Fraser Fox Fine Art in 2004. Fraser has the soul of the south in his blood and the love of the land is apparent in his paintings that evoke a true sense of place, and are painted with beauty, light and quality that are comparable to some of the finest American and European Impressionist of the past. Nationally recognized, Fraser suggests a feeling of timelessness in his work that draws the viewers into his contemporary experience.

President of Plein Air Painters of America, Budicin is known for his sensitive, subtle oil paintings. Dellinger, a former art professor, prefers pastel and acrylics to evoke a masterful sense of his surroundings. The paintings of O'Donnel are a testament to his joie de vivre and his passion for and commitment to the arts.

The gallery also exhibits the one-of-a-kind jewelry of goldsmith, Sarah Amos and the internationally renowned wildlife sculptures of Kent Ullberg.
