Upstate Visual Arts in Greenville, SC, Features Works by Jane Doyle and David Young
Upstate Visual Arts (UVA) in Greenville, SC,
is proud to showcase the works of Jane Doyle, in an exhibit titled,
High Flyin, and David Young's hand built clay works, in
an exhibit titled, Tribal Images and Sculptural Forms.
The works will be on display through Oct. 31, 2006, in the UVA's
Upstate Visual Arts Gallery.
Doyle will present her abstract expressionism pieces in this month's
exhibit. Doyle says that she "always looks for themes in
everyday life." Her artwork in this show has been described
as "inspiration from kite flying days with her grandchildren."
Young, a fellow UVA artist, will be displaying 3D pieces. While he is a native of England, it was while living in Holland that he started sculpting. For the past twelve years Young has resided in the United States. He is a photographer as well as a clay artist.
Each of these artists is a member of Upstate Visual Arts, Greenville's largest non-profit organization dedicated solely to the visual arts. Most of the works on display are for sale.
