Green Rice Gallery in Charlotte, NC,
Features Works by Kate Vasseur
Green Rice Gallery in Charlotte, NC, will present the exhibit, Nostalgia, featuring works by Charlotte artist, Kate Vasseur, on view from Oct. 3 through Nov. 2, 2008.
According to Vasseur, her paintings are a blend of fantasy with an element of nostalgia. Images of a bygone era color her canvas as much as her brush strokes do. Her acrylic palette of earthy hues creates vast, yet intimate landscapes, which can evoke emotion and memories from any viewer.
In addition to Vasseur's exhibit, Green Rice Gallery will be introducing new artist Matthew Hooker. His oil paintings of cityscapes and custom commissions draw the viewer in to experience a depth and realism that few artists can achieve.
