Anderson Arts Center in Anderson, SC, Offers a Look at Europe
The Anderson County Arts Center in Anderson, SC, is presenting the exhibition, On Location in Europe, which offers a tour of Europe through the eyes of four regional artists: JoAnne Anderson (Belton, SC), Susanna Ferguson (Anderson, SC), Bob Heiks (Pelzer, SC), and Jill Noël Stafford (Augusta, GA). From serine pasture land to exciting city scenes, and from soothing palettes to riotous colors, expect the expected and the unexpected. The exhibit will be on view through Feb. 23.
The show mingles dependable favorites and new
artistic energy. Media featured include watercolor, pastel, and
watermedia. JoAnne Anderson is a regional favorite with a national
reputation. Bob Heiks has not shown at the Arts Center before
but has already attracted a loyal following thanks in part to
exhibitions at our satellite gallery at Medicus.
Susanna Ferguson is also new to the Arts Center but has been juried
into and won awards in our Annual Juried Show. Jill Stafford's
abstract view of traditional compositions will challenge and delight!
