Aiken Center for the Arts in Aiken, SC, Offers Works by Aiken Artist Guild
The exhibition, Aiken: Retrospective - Aiken Artist Guild Juried Art Exhibition, will be on display at the Aiken Center for the Arts in Aiken, SC, from Jan. 7 - 21, 2005.
"The Guild's juried exhibition will give people the opportunity to experience the wealth of artistic talent that we have right here in own community," Kristin Brown, executive director for the Arts Center, said.
Works will be juried by Kevin Grogan, director of the Morris Museum of Art in Augusta, GA.
Located in the heart of downtown Aiken, Aiken Center for the Arts has been a major art resource to the community for over 30 years. Offering a variety of visual and performing art classes, free exhibits, children's summer art camps and special events such as Horseplay, the Center is dedicated to furthering the arts in the community.
