The Preservation Society of Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, NC, Features Works by Eric Saunders
The Preservation Society of Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, NC, will present the exhibit, Natural Landscapes: Photographs by Eric Saunders, at the Horace Williams House from Jan. 6 - 27, 2008.
Saunders first became interested in photography as a child when his family spent the summer in Hawaii. Using trading stamps accumulated from grocery shopping in Hawaii, he purchased a primitive 120mm camera, the Spartus Vanguard. Saunders has a Masters' Degree in Music and he had a career as a software engineer. Saunders returned to photography during frequent travels. He now works with a Nikon 6006 and Nikon lenses. His work is on display at several venues throughout the Triangle area. Saunders won 1st place at the Movement and Music show in June 2007 at the Visual Art Exchange in Raleigh, NC.
