Eva Carter Gallery in Charleston, SC, Features Exhibition of Abstract Works

The Eva Carter Gallery in Charleston, SC, will present the exhibition entitled, Three Voices of Abstraction, featuring new oils on canvas by Eva Carter, stainless steel sculpture by Gretchen Lothrop, and selected works by William Halsey. The exhibition will be on view from Nov. 3 through Nov. 30, 2000.

All three artists speak the language of abstraction with a distinct, unique voice. Eva Carter's work is indicative of her sensitivity to an inner awareness and select observations. Gretchen Lothrop's work explores music, rhythm, and movement in a three-dimensional form, while William Halsey's work focuses on pattern and texture.

Gallery owner and featured artist Eva Carter would also like to announce that she has moved her studio to Wadmawlaw Island, SC. Carter is anxious to exhibit never seen before canvases created from this inspiring location. The exhibition is offered in conjunction with the Charleston Fine Arts Annual, Nov. 3-5, presented by the Charleston Fine Art Dealers Association.
