Applewood Gallery in Charlotte, NC, Offers Works by Greg Barnes
Applewood Gallery, Charlotte, NC's most innovative custom framing studio, is presenting the exhibit, DUOS, featuring works by Greg Barnes, on view through Dec. 1, 2004.
Barnes is an award-winning Charlotte artist; most recently he was awarded "Best in Show" at the 2004 Festival in the Park art competition. DUOS is his first-ever gallery show as a featured artist.
DUOS will exhibit works that showcase Barnes' talent for different media. A pastel landscape, for example, will be shown with a detailed oil of the same scene. This allows for an exploration of how different media show light, texture, and color.
