College Of Charleston in Charleston, SC, Presents Alumni Exhibition
The William Halsey Gallery at the College of
Charleston's School of the Arts in Charleston, SC, is hosting
the exhibition, Fresh Work:
College of Charleston Alumni Exhibition 1994-2004, on view
through Dec. 11, 2004.
This juried exhibition includes works by 17
studio art alumni who graduated between 1994 and 2004, featuring
their most recent work. The exhibit features works in a variety
of media, all produced within the last 3 years.
Fresh Work showcases the diversity and quality of art being produced
by recent College of Charleston graduates, and highlights their
involvement in the currents of the latest contemporary art. The
exhibition was curated by Dr. Marian Mazzone, of the College of
Charleston Art History department, with Katie Lee, an MA graduate
in art history and an alumna of the College of Charleston.
Exhibiting artists include: Vanessa Albury, Amylynn M. Bills-Levi,
Gayle Brooker, Lisa Chou, Margaret Clarke, Townsend Davidson,
Stephen R. Davis, John Duckworth, Megan Henley, Krist Mills, Sue
Murray, Dorothy Netherland, Rachael O'Neal, Larissa Patel, Lynn
Patterson, Matt Smithson and Johnathan Walsh.
