November Issue 2004
TwoArtChicks in Greensboro, NC, Features Works by les caison, lll
TwoArtChicks in Greensboro, NC, is proud to
present the exhibition, les caison, lll: body music, featuring
the artist's 11th solo exhibition (his third at TwoArtChicks),
concentrating on narrations of what one may observe from the life
of musical people. The exhibit will be on view from Nov. 12 through
Jan. 8, 2005.
The thought-provoking artist has orchestrated contrasts and comparisons
between the active marching band maestro and the serene interpreter
of dance in this group of 20 paintings.
North Carolina born and bred, les caison, lll
earned a BFA in painting from Appalachian State University in
1998. Known for his vibrant layers of oil paint and illustration
and, according to Asheville's Mountain Xpress, "a
marvelously objective eye," caison considers the urban narrative
from his eclectic home and studio in Asheville, NC.
caison is represented by TwoArtChicks in Greensboro and Solo Art
Gallery in Winston-Salem, NC.
