Spencer Galleries in Charleston, SC, Offers Several Exhibitions for November 2005
The Spencer Art Galleries in Charleston, SC, shows the works of over 40 artists and always has a busy schedule. November ushers in the Holiday Season with several crowd pleasing events at Spencer's.
From Nov. 4 - 16, 2005, Gallery I will offer Here & There, featuring paintings by Catherine and Jerry Spencer. New paintings will range from those based on recent European travels, new local scenes, abstracts, and more. "We have produced a lot of new work for this show and it will be very exciting," says gallery co-owner Catherine Spencer.
Also from Nov. 4 - 16, 2005, Gallery II will offer the exhibit Femmes & Fins, featuring paintings by Anne Thames. "Anne's characteristically colorful and stylistic paintings of beautiful people in beautiful places as well as her Koi fish paintings are always candy for the eye," says Jerry Spencer, gallery co-owner.
The Sixth Annual Little Picture Show will showcase small works in Galleries I & II. Gallery artists have been busy working on exquisite small works that are suitable for gifts for others or for yourself. The exhibit will run from Nov. 18 - 30, 2005.
Also from Nov. 18 - 30, Gallery II will present a special exhibit entitled First Impressions, featuring paintings by Kelly Stanley. This is the premier exhibit for a talented emerging artist.
