Moonflower Gallery & Gifts Opens in Saluda, North Carolina
Saluda, NC's latest gallery, Moonflower Gallery and Gifts, has finally opened its doors following much renovation. Gallery owners are Kanda Orlando, Margie Derwort and Verlie Murphy. Having about 900 sq. ft. of space the gallery represents several Carolina artists who paint, sculpt, make jewelry and form pottery. The gallery offers unique art, as well as art for sale from private collectors in the area.
In addition to the private collection pieces we also have several small antiques, which include a great collection of nutcrackers - some foreign - some large and colorful.
Art classes will also be offered at the gallery, which run for four weeks at a time. The offerings will be in oil painting, encaustic and drawing for the beginner and advanced. Children's classes will be in Kaleidoscopic drawing as well. Unique to our gallery are classes scheduled according to individual needs. Private lessons are available and smaller class sizes to enable more one on one time for the student.
The gallery is located at 5008 Hwy. 176, on
the right, just before (or after if coming from Saluda) Pearson
Falls Rd., between Tryon and Saluda.
