The Other Half in Winston Salem, NC, Features Works by Clay Artists
The Other Half in Winston Salem, NC, is presenting the exhibit, CLAY, featuring works by the clay artists represented by the gallery, on view through Dec. 30, 2007.
New artists included in this show are
Sarah McCarthy, Floyd, Va, Diane Demers-Smith, (of Winston
Salem) and Shane Mickey and William Baker both of Bakersville,
NC. Combined with the works of Bonnie Moore, Dodie Campbell,
Nicholas Bernard and Ron Propst, the gallery offers a wide
variety of techniques and glaze styles.
Holiday ideas and items are filling the gallery shelves. Cameron
Reeds beautiful glass ornaments and icicles, as well as, Jason
Probstein's and sticks and stones ornaments make wonderful gifts
to yourself and others. Martin Henry's window charms and
stakes can decorate a tree or window. Watch for our very
special holiday window to make an appearance in mid-November.
The gallery continues to offer works of Mary Ann Zotto, Antoinette
Noble, Deborah Wishon Jewels, Monshine Metals by Mike Cowan, Cliff
Garren oil lamps, fused glass by Celeste Chapman-Dent and Chris
Teague, wooden boxes by Lou Works, Ira De Koven's fish hooks,
donkey tails and flowers and beautifully designed home goods.
