Heritage, Arts & Music Festival
Takes Place in Seneca, Oconee County, SC
The second annual Heritage, Arts & Music
(HAM) Festival will be a celebration of the history, arts and
music of the Seneca, Oconee County, SC, area, from Nov. 1 - 30,
2008, at Duke's World of Energy.
The Blue Ridge Arts Center in partnership with Duke Energy, the
Oconee Heritage Center, Pickens County Museum, and the Westminster
Chamber of Commerce will host this event at the World of Energy.
The kick-off weekend of Nov. 1 & 2, will include entertainment,
music and cultural offerings such as the Jack Roper Magic Show,
Music by the Weatherman Band, The Heritage String Band, and a
BRAC "Make It and Take It" for the kids.
An invitational art exhibit featuring local artists with a diverse
collection of artwork including handmade jewelry, pottery, quilts,
weaving, painting, wood working, photography, baskets and much
more will be offered. Artwork is on display and available for
purchase Nov. 1 - 30, just in time for the holidays. Many artists
will be there to share their insight into the "world of art".
