Benedict College in Columbia, SC, Hosts Works by Faculty & Friends
The Ponder Fine Arts Gallery at Benedict College in Columbia, SC, is featuring an exhibition entitled, Big Ones Little Ones and In Between: An Exhibition of Small to Large Scale Works By Benedict College Art Faculty and Friends. The exhibition will be on view through Dec. 20, 2000. The Ponder Fine Arts Center will be closed for Thanksgiving.
The exhibition will feature the works by John Wright, Napoleon Jones-Henderson, Michael Hale, and Tyrone Geter, all Benedict College faculty members. Besides the Benedict College staff, the exhibition will feature the paintings of Boston artist, Milton Derr, Ohio artists, Robert Peppers and Gary Pettigrew, and photographs by the late Rudy Robinson.
The exhibition will include a collection of paintings, drawings, collage\installations, hand-pulled prints, photographs, and sculptures. The exhibition is a wonderful example of diversity of styles, materials and content.
The exhibition is open to the public. Parking is available in the Benedict campus garage and in visitor's parking spaces.
