Furman University Faculty Art Exhibition in Greenville, SC
Members of the Furman University Art Department faculty wilt have some of their recent works on display in the Thompson Gallery of the Roe Art Building in Greenville, SC, through Dec. 15.
The members of the Furman faculty participating in the exhibit are Terri Bright (photography), Bob Chance (raku ceramics), Diane Hopkins-Hughes (photography), Ross McClain (painting), and Olof Sorenson (painting). This will be the first time Bright and McClain, both in their second year as faculty members at Furman, have exhibited a group of pieces in this region.
Bright's work has been shown in several national exhibits this year, including The Art of Photography at the Armory Art Center in Florida and The Midwest Photography Invitational XI at the University of Wisconsin in Green Bay. Her display at Furman will include some of the photographs she made on a recent trip to Chile. McClain, who is known for his work designing CD covers, corporate logos and web pages, will display some of his paintings and sculpture.
