Cleveland County Arts Council in Shelby, NC, Features Annual Holiday Sale
The Cleveland County Arts Council is presenting it's annual, Art and Soul Holiday Sale, at the Arts Center in Shelby, NC, through Dec. 27, 2001. The works of over 50 local artists will be displayed for immediate purchase in the gallery of the Arts Center.
This holiday season why not put a little Art and Soul into your gifts? The Carolina Foothills Handmade Association and the Cleveland County Arts Council invite you to join us as we celebrate the holidays with the Arts.
Artwork being offered includes pottery, jewelry, basketry, paintings, and lots more. Participating artists include: Lee Adams, Guy Adams, Frank Barrow, William Bedsaul, Shirley Benton, Bobbie Black, Joyce Branch, Judy Browne, Mary Kaye Casaday, Debbie Chapman, Celena Christos, Kiowa Cilone, Shawn Cooper, Susan Doggett, Doyle Ellison, Lynn Eskridge, Hope Fregerio, Vicki Gill, Alan Griffin, Libby Harrill, Al Harris, Sandra Haynes, Chris Huffman, Karen Kammer, Mary Lampley, Maude Lawing, Polly Ledford, John Lee, Tony Lindsey, Brenda Lowery, Kaye Lowery, Holly Marchman, Gene Messick, June Miller, Cheryl Munoz, Tiffany Ownbey, Michael Patterson, Wilma Petty, Sarah Philbeck, Gayle Point, Bud Press, Bonnie Price, Tracy Price, Susan Rehnberg, Jack Robinson, Michael Sherer, Mary Smiley, Jean Sparks, Lynn Star, Chris Tessnear, Gregory Thompson, Gena VanDyke, Jim Weitzel, and Jamie Willis.
A grant was received from the Cleveland County Economic Development Commission's Travel council to assist with this project.
The gallery will be open to receive holiday
shoppers: Mon.-Thur., 9am-5pm, and Fri., 9am-8:30pm.
