North Charleston, SC's City Gallery Hosts Work by Robert D. Naugle

The North Charleston Cultural Arts Program in North Charleston, SC, is proud to display the work of Robert David Naugle, City of North Charleston's Artist-in-Residence for the year 2001/02. Naugle's artwork will be on view through the month of Dec. in the North Charleston City Gallery, located in the Charleston Area Convention Center in North Charleston.

Naugle is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Graphic Design and holds an Associate degree in Applied Science from Rio Grande University. He is an Adjunct Instructor in the Visual Arts Department at Trident Technical College in Charleston, SC, a multiple media Art Instructor, and also enjoys a career in the medical field as well. Naugle is an accomplished artist in portraiture, illustration, mural design, pencil drawing, oils, pastels, chalk and charcoal, acrylics, watercolor, multi-media airbrush techniques, and digital graphics design. As this year's Artist-in-Residence for the City of North Charleston, his duties will include serving all public schools in the North Area who request a residency workshop through the North Charleston Cultural Arts School Resource Program. He will also conduct free art workshops for teens for the North Charleston Cultural Arts Program on the first and third Friday afternoons each month at Sterett Hall on the former Charleston Naval Base.
