Waterfront Gallery in Charleston, SC, Features Works by Bob Graham

West, an exhibition of black and white charcoal and conte drawings by Bob Graham will be on display at Waterfront Gallery in Charleston, SC, through Dec. 31, 2005.

The drawings in this exhibition are part of a growing fascination and love that this saltwater cowboy has for the West. "I love the romantic notion of the cowboy, the way he goes head to head with an animal twice his size only to be thrown off, then to get up, dust himself off and do it all again. Gotta love that kinda' heart," states Graham.

The drawings in the exhibit are a realistic ballet of form and shape with the horse and rider involved in a dance of life. Many of the works are oversized pieces some as large as 40 x 60 inches. The majority of the pieces are illustrative by nature capturing the viewer's eye leaving them wanting to know the rest of the story. For a look inside the personal workings of Graham's mind, visit West.
