The Sylvan Gallery in Charleston, SC, Features an Exhibit of Small Creations
The Sylvan Gallery in Charleston, SC, is presenting a "Small Works" show in time for the holidays, on view through Dec. 31, 2006. Representing 30 artists, works by most will be in this show of oil paintings and sculpture. Works by artists Rhett Thurman, Nancy Bush, Joan Potter, William Berra, Ted Ellis, Glenna Goodacre, Guido Petruzzi and many more will be included.
Works by national artists of note are displayed over two stories of gallery space located in the heart of Charleston's famous antique district. This is the quiet time of year to wander the streets and visit this gallery with works depicting locations all over the world as well as the country which add to the charm of Charleston's lovely scenery. These artists live throughout the nation and travel regularly for inspiration. They are highly collected throughout the United States and beyond.
The Sylvan Gallery focuses on 20th and 21st century representational art. Since opening in late 2002, they have shown that diversity is success.
