Dog & Horse
Fine Art in Charleston, SC, Features Works by Pat Weaver
Dog & Horse Fine Art & Portraiture in Charleston, SC, will present works by Pat Weaver, a most accomplished watercolor artist, on view from Dec. 5 - 26, 2008.
Weaver's work captures the spirit of animals through her own spontaneous approach to painting. Her use of unusual and beautiful colors is unique, and her loose brushwork creates a refreshingly expressive style. Her large contemporary paintings are dramatic, a wonderful addition to any home, such as a beautiful Borzoi with a lush purple background. Her smaller paintings are equally as expressive, featuring the warmth of spontaneous moments, such as a King Charles Spaniel with her head draped over a pillow.
Always a regular at the Westminster Kennel Club Show each year in New York City, Weaver is also an international watercolor instructor, traveling and teaching workshops throughout the US, Italy, France, Mexico, the Bahamas, and the Virgin Islands.
Come see Weaver's existing paintings ready for your home with wonderful splashes of color and the most charming subject matter. She would love the opportunity to paint your dog or cat!
