Charleston Co. Library in Charleston, SC, Features Works by J. Carol Gardner

The Saul Alexander Gallery at the Main Branch of the Charleston County Library system in Charleston, SC, will present an exhibit entitled, The Spirt That Connects Us All, featuring works byJ. Carol Gardner. The exhibition will be on view on the Library's first floor throughout Feb., 2002.

"My work is about the essence of life, the spirit found in all life, plant, animal or human," stated Gardner. "I attempt to capture through light, shadow, line and form the spirit that connects us all. The power, the humor and its beauty is universal."

Gardner is the winner of numerous awards from art shows including the North Charleston Arts Festival and the Coastal Carolina Fair's Fine Arts Exhibition. She currently resides in Charleston and earned her BFA in studio art at Converse College in Spartanburg, SC.
