February Issue 2004
Nina Liu and Friends in Charleston, SC, Features Group Exhibition
Nina Liu and Friends in Charleston, SC, presents the group exhibition, Hearts and Flowers, on view during the month of Feb. 2004.
The exhibit will feature works in pastel, oil, clay, collage, and assemblage. Some of the artists working in these varied media explore the exhibition theme in pieces that are purely representative, while others play on words and ideas one associates with love and infatuation. Gallery owner Nina Liu says that the exhibition will provide viewers with "a fun way to think about matters of the heart!"
Artists whose work will appear in Hearts and Flowers include painters Nancy Purington, Janet Kozachek, and Pernille Dake. Marcia Wegman and Loret Mast will exhibit works in pastel, while Sherry Browne and John D. Morgan will present collages and assemblages. Nina Liu will include some of her ceramic pieces in the exhibition.
