Silver Fox Gallery in Hendersonville, NC, Features Works by Ann Der Gara and Philip Dusenbury
The Silver Fox Gallery in Hendersonville, NC, is presenting landscapes, abstract monoprints and acrylics on paper by internationally recognized Brevard, NC, artist Ann Der Gara in Gallery I, from Feb. 4 through Mar. 3, 2005.
Gallery I will also have works by Tryon, NC, artist Philip Dusenbury on view through Feb. Dusenbury's work is found in corporate, public and private collections throughout the country.
"Ann's brilliant use of color will lighten
our gallery during long winter days," said Bonnie Rash, gallery
proprietor. "And Philip's subtle, quiet humor that is evident
in his highly-creative sculptures remind us how much
simpler our lives could be."

Der Gara's North Carolina landscapes also will be featured in a solo exhibition in May. "Ann paints these Blue Ridge mountains and valleys from her deep feelings about this place," Rash said, "rather than from a visual recollection of a specific place."
In addition to Der Gara, the gallery's two-dimensional resident artists include Patricia Cole-Ferullo, Carol Beth Icard, William Martin Jean and Margaret Scanlan. Three-dimensional resident artists are Philip Dusenbury and Sharon Tesche.
