Sunset River Marketplace in Calabash, NC, Offers Works Based on Color Red
The Sunset River Marketplace in Calabash, NC, will present the exhibit, Why Red?, from Feb. 11 through Mar. 31, 2007. Included in the show are a range of hand blown glass pieces by Scott Summerfield, oil paintings by Judy O'Brien, pottery by the Red Lantern Studio and other works including photography, watercolor and artisan-made jewelry.
Red is the color of passion, power and hot energy. You'll want to stop by the gallery and discover for yourself, "Why Red?"
Sunset River Marketplace is still showing the exhibit, Retrospective: Ruth Rosenthal, featuring colorful paintings, prints and enamel works, on view through Feb. 11, 2007.
