Center of the Earth Gallery in Charlotte, NC, is presenting the exhibit, In Evidence, featuring works by painters for a new era, exploring spatiality and substance, on view through Feb. 29, 2008.
Infused with humor and unusual subjects, Scott
Fraser's enduring work delights the viewer's senses. Fraser

Anthony Schepis embodies the enigmatic, incorporating still life
into subtle and haunting environments. His work is in several
permanent corporate collections including Kaiser Permanente.

the fragility and tenacity of life. Fresh, focused depictions
of familiar objects inform the minimal spaces of VCU graduate
Michael Fitts.
Max Miller studied at the Charles H. Cecil Studio in Florence
Italy and his love of the Baroque continues to inform his new
series of mysterious clenched figurative poses.
