Skillbeck Gallery in Charlotte, NC, Spotlights Local Woman Clay Artists
Skillbeck Gallery, at Cotswold Mall, in Charlotte, NC, will present the exhibition, Color and Whimsey: Works by Hat Thompson and Jill Kitamura from Mar. 1 through 31.
Hat Thompson, a local Charlotte artist, is known for her functional and decorative clay items featuring the whimsical side of nature.
Jill Kitamura of Concord, NC, uses color to brighten up everyday objects such as wine glasses and bowls.
All works in the show are available for sale.
This exhibition is being held in conjunction with the NCECA's 35th Annual Conference, being held in Charlotte, Mar. 28-31.
