TwoArtChicks Gallery in Greensboro, NC, Joins With Women's Resource Center To Kick-Off Phoenixfest!
TwoArtChicks, Inc., and the Women's Resource Center, a premier organization for women's empowerment, co-hosts a "Kick-Off Party for PhoenixFest" on Apr. 6, from 6-8pm, in Greensboro, NC. The evening is open to the public with a $7 cover to defray costs of the evening.
The Kick-Off presents The Allison King Band; a Triad favorite, Allison and her group will perform rhythm and blues, originals and blues standards to the delight of her fans' The evening also offers light refreshments, coffee, beer and wine, plus the opportunity to view and purchase artwork and fine crafts.
TwoArtChicks represents over 180 artists in its gallery showcasing original artwork and fine crafts: everything from watercolors, oils, acrylics and sculpture to ceramics, jewelry, mixed media, fiber arts, wood and cards. The gallery has something for every taste and every budget! TwoArtChicks also offers classes in traditional arts, as well as workshops in fine crafts and creativity. We also offer 10 studios for lease on an annual basis for local practicing artists.
This is the fourth annual Phoenixfest, a fundraiser to benefit the Women's Resource Center of Greensboro. The mission of the WRC is to empower women to lead self-directed lives. All services, networks and programs are offered free of charge to all community women over the age of eighteen. This strategy center for life planning has served over 20,000 women since the inception in 1995.
