Queens University in Charlotte, NC, Features Works by Christina Burke & Peggy Hutson Weston

Christina Burke -------------------------------------- Peggy Hutson Weston

Burke and Weston are both award winning artists with many years of experience in the studio and as art educators, and their work is in numerous corporate and private collections. In this exhibit, Burke's shibori silk paintings and kimonos are a fresh expression of an ancient art. Weston's paintings and collages succeed in simplifying difficult subjects and ideas into visual form, using paint as well as handmade and stained papers. In the process of creating each new piece they are Chasing Magic.
