Transylvania County Arts Council in Brevard, NC, Features Artworks by Students
The Transylvania County Arts Council in Brevard, NC, is presenting an exhibition entitled, Transylvania County Student Art Show, at the Community Arts Center from Mar. 3 - 27, 2003. Come see the remarkable talent of K-12 students.
The Transylvania County Arts Council and the school district sponsor the show, to be judged by Brevard College professors Mollie Doctrow and Tim Murray. Awards will be given in each of three divisions: elementary, middle and high schools. A "Best in Show" will also be chosen.
Erin Keane, the show's coordinator and a Brevard Middle School art teacher, said selected art has been set aside for the show by teachers throughout the academic year.
