mention winners.
The juror for Art Expo 2005 is Hillary Brett, Gallery Director for the Center for Craft, Creativity and Design, in Hendersonville, NC. She has been involved in programming, curating, design, and grant writing at the Center for Craft, Creativity and Design since Oct. of 2002. She moved to North Carolina after working in the grants division at the Florida Division of Cultural Affairs. Brett received a Masters in Arts Administration from Florida State University and completed an internship in the Education Department at the Tate in London, Britain.
In keeping with this event being student-centered, the Exhibitions Practicum class worked with the Advanced Typography class to select a student artist to design publicity materials for Art Expo 2005. Graphic design student Brooke Fussell created the designs that were chosen for the exhibition's logo, postcard, and other publications.
