Center for the Arts in Rock Hill, SC, Features Works by Terry Roueche
The Pictures I Gave Nicky for Her Birthday, a photography exhibit featuring works by Rock Hill resident Terry Roueche, is on display in the Dalton Gallery at the Center for the Arts in Rock Hill, SC, through Mar. 27, 2006.
As an art photographer, Roueche strives to capture symmetry and flow of composition, and also explores the tonal range of black and white images. In 2005, he won first place for the Arts Council of Rock Hill and York County photo competition. Roueche's current exhibit represents his exploration of South Carolina's scenic environment for the past three years.
As a commercial photographer, Roueche has worked with local, regional, national and international clients with a wide range of subjects. He is also a playwright and playwrighting instructor at Winthrop University. Roueche has written more than 30 plays that have received over 100 productions or staged readings across the county and Europe.
