Eva Carter Gallery in Charleston, SC, Offers Works by Kathleen Earthrowl
Eva Carter Gallery in Charleston, SC, will present the exhibit, Kathleen Earthrowl: Abstracted Landscapes, on view from Mar. 2 through Apr. 14, 2007.
Visualize the gentle blush of a pond, anxious to embrace a long awaited sunset. The work of Kathleen Earthrowl contemplates that sensual affair with the natural world by means of an abstract perspective - one that fuses bold emotional colors with the healing and calming subject of water.
Earthrowl, who was born in Massachusetts, spent her nascent years among the ponds that she now paints. She currently lives in Houston where her experiences as a plein-air painter, a psychotherapist, a dancer, and world traveler, all fuel her inspiration.
Earthrowl's award-winning paintings are found in museum and gallery exhibitions as well as corporate and private collections throughout the United States.
