Gallery at Gettys in Rock Hill, SC, Features Works by Todd Stewart and Katie Lloyd
Gallery at Gettys in Rock Hill, SC, is presenting the exhibit, Commonplace, featuring unique individual and collaborative works by Todd Stewart and Katie Lloyd. The exhibit will be on view through Mar. 9, 2007.
Artist Todd Stewart is a 2006 BFA graduate from Winthrop University with a concentration in sculpture. Katie Lloyd is a current BFA student at Winthrop University also concentrating in sculpture.
Commonplace will include an interactive installation using a simple form and everyday material. Stewart's individual creations include abundant and simple mark-making which leads to establishing atmospheric effects. Lloyd lightly transforms familiar material to an unaccustomed state to create new visual and tactile experiences for the viewer.
