Transylvania Community Arts Council in Brevard, NC, Features Exhibition by Experienced, Seasoned, Aged - Artists
The Transylvania Community Arts Council features an array of art works by area artists 60 years old or over in the exhibit, Coming of Age-A Celebration. The exhibit, presented at the TC Arts Center in Brevard, SC, will be on view from Mar. 5 through Apr. 13, 2007.
Artists included in the show are John Allen, Mary Alice Braukman, Clara Lawton Smith-Childs, Danie Janov, Suzie Karnatz, Peggy McGoldrick, Linda Muir, Tim Murray, Virginia Pendergrass, Sarah Sneedon and Renee Williams.
TC Arts is a nonprofit organization with the mission to "Celebrate and Nurture the Creative Spirit in Transylvania County." The Arts Council receives support from TC Arts Members, the City of Brevard, Transylvania County Schools, and the North Carolina Arts Council.
