The Arts Center of Henderson County, in Hendersonville, NC, is hosting its 6th Annual Juried High School Art Competition & Exhibition
The Arts Center of Henderson County in Hendersonville, NC, will feature an exhibition entitled, Artists of Tomorrow, which will feature artwork from students in Western North Carolina public and private schools from Apr. 7 through May 11, 2001.
An awards ceremony will take place Apr. 6, from 5-7pm, when prizes donated by Frugal Framer, Presto Art Supplies, True Blue Art Supplies, Highwater Clays, Flinchum Photography, Marian Strain and Sue Fazio, will be awarded.
This exhibition is always one of The Arts Center's most exciting offerings. Every year the scope and quality of the art produced by our high school students improves and astounds the viewers. Last year's exhibition included over 200 pieces of work and represented 9 schools. Come and view this exhibition of young talent and support our Artists of Tomorrow. "The world of art is wide and rich; there is room in it for everyone who wants to learn, to experience, above all to see," said Frederick Hartt.
A special thank you to Dave's Block & Barrell Deli and Little Caesars for their generous donations and continuous support of the arts in Henderson County.
