Moring Arts Center in Asheboro, NC, Features Works by Juan Villa
Internationally known photographer Juan Villa will be featured in the exhibition, Light Manipulations, an exhibit of photographs in the Main Gallery of the Moring Arts Center in Asheboro, NC, from April 1 - 26, 2002. This exhibit is sponsored by the Randolph Rotary Club as a service to the community.
Villa was born in Colombia and now makes his home in Asheboro. He is a graduate of the Randolph Community College Photography Program and has established a business in Asheboro, Villa Photography, Inc.
Villa's images capture humor, nostalgia, pathos in human terms. His subjects are people, the landscapes both of Colombia and the United States, animals, and nature. He often uses unusual techniques to give a different twist to otherwise ordinary material.
