Touchstone Gallery in Hendersonville, SC, Features Spring Lineup
Touchstone Gallery in Hendersonville, NC, is pleased to announce the display of fresh works from six regional artists and the addition of a new craftsman to its roster for Spring.
New paintings include selections from Carol Bomer and Julia Masaoka of Asheville, NC. Bomer enjoys a wide following for her liturgically inspired works both stateside and in Canada. Masaoka's mixed media works also call the viewer into spiritual realms.
Saluda, NC's, Dale McEntire always offers the viewer a different way of experiencing the beauty of our mountain landscape often transporting our vision to take in the sacred energy that enlivens each space.
Costanza Knight and Barabara Timmerman create images in distinctly different styles. Knight is known for her lyric and graceful figures while Timmerman's work stretches our imaginations with her boldly colored abstractions. Both call Hendersonville home.
And, the gallery extends a warm "welcome back" to Sandra Halat who has returned to her home in Biloxi, MS, after nearly a decade in NC. The gallery is featuring a selection of images from this awarding winning artist's "Antique Doll" series.
Karl Crammer is not only new to Touchstone, but also to Hendersonville, having moved here recently after living in New Hampshire for 27 years. A lifelong cabinetmaker, whose works were featured at the Sharon Arts Center in Peterborough, NH, Crammer is now offering one of a kind solid wood tables. Each features beautifully figured hardwoods such as birdseye and tiger maple with centers of richly grained burl wood. All the skills developed in over 50 years of cabinetmaking are now distilled in these graceful tables.
