TwoArtChicks in Greensboro, NC, Presents Works by les caison III

TwoArtChicks, Inc., in Greensboro, NC, is proud to present Greensboro native and Asheville resident artist les caison, III in a solo exhibition from Apr. 2-27, 2002.

Bright urban color will fill TwoArtChicks gallery as caison debuts his recent series of spry urban narrative paintings in an 18 piece exhibition entitled Cars & Bars. This marks the seventh one-man exhibition since earning a BFA in painting from Appalachian State University. caison's distinct narratives depicting people, places and things are included in private collections in California, New York, Illinois and Hawaii.

les caison, III's narrative painting style of intertwining oil color with under drawing is exhibited and collected in his home state of NC. He is represented in North Carolina by TwoArtChicks, Inc. and the Green Hill Center for North Carolina Art in Greensboro.

Solo exhibitions include Three Jazz Musicians at Kats Music Emporium in Asheville in 2001 and Containers as part of the 1999 Arts in Action Series at the UNC-Wilmington. Other exhibitions include the 2001 Winter Show at Green Hill Center for NC Art and the Pulp Invitational at Elements Gallery in Macon, GA in 2000. Popular Asheville, NC establishments featuring caison's large-scale commissioned paintings include The Golden Horn Restaurant, City Bakery and The Cabin Restaurant. Honors include artwork in the Permanent Collection of Appalachian State University and First Place in the Randolph Arts Guild 18th Annual Art Show, spring 2000. caison resides and paints in Asheville, NC.
