Summit One Gallery in Highlands, NC, Teams with Restaurant to Match Fine Art with Fine Dining
Summit One Gallery and Wolfgang's on Main in Highlands, NC, will again this year be hosting "An Evening of Fine Art, Fine Wine and Fine Dining" every Monday evening. The special evenings will begin May 31 and continue through the last Monday in Oct., 2004. Chef Wolfgang Green will prepare an exquisite five course dinner to be paired with wines from Silver Oak Cellars, Heitz Wine Cellars, Charles Krug, Selby Winery, Hess Collections Winery, Markham Vineyards and others. Each evening will feature a different winery, a different artist, and a different menu. A representative from the winery will be on hand to conduct the wine tasting.
Various artists represented by Summit One Gallery will be on hand to exhibit and discuss their work; included in the series will be Rosemary Stiefel, Edward Rice, Jane Smithers, Mase Lucas, Betty Foy Botts, Katherine Coleman, Don McGowan, Hunter Coleman, Vivian Jendzio, Tom Bluemlein, John McKah.
Wolfgang's on Main has been selected as a "Best of Award of Excellence" restaurant by Wine Spectator. Chef Wolfgang is a certified Executive Chef and is in the American Academy of Chefs.

five artists and craftsmen primarily from the southeastern United
States, with an emphasis on the Carolinas and Georgia. Many of
the artists and craftsmen are included in public and private collections
across the country.
