Historic Honey Horn on Hilton Head Island, SC, Offers Annual Art Market - Apr. 29 & 30, 2006
The Art Market at Historic Honey Horn, a juried fine art and craft show, is set for Apr. 29 & 30, 2006, on Hilton Head Island, SC. The Coastal Discovery Museum, sponsors of the show, is pleased to announce that artwork in media including: clay, wood, fibers, metals, glass, jewelry, watercolors, oil, mixed media and photography will be on display and for sale. This will be the biggest Art Market yet! Be sure to mark your calendar now.
Artists from as far
way as Connecticut and Wisconsin and well-known local artists
will share the spotlight during this weekend-long event. Each
artist will compete for prizes totaling $5,000.
The show is open to the public on Sat., from 10am-5pm and on Sun.,
from 11am-4pm. There is a $5 per car parking fee, while admission
to the show is free.
If you'd like to stay longer, from 5:30-7pm. on Sat. evening,
Apr. 29, please join us "under the oaks" for an Artists
Awards Presentation. Admission to the party is $20 and you will
have a chance to mingle with artists, enjoy food and beverages,
and learn of other Bravo events.
Honey Horn, a beautiful 68-acre site, is located off Highway 278,
across from Gumtree Road, at the 3rd light on the island. Food
and beverages will be available on site.

The Art Market at Historic Honey Horn is part of BRAVO
- Celebrate the Arts! Festival held during the month of May each
year. BRAVO is a month-long celebration of our area's vibrant
arts community and diverse cultural heritage in partnership with
the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce.
